The Girl Scouts of Louisiana — Pines to the Gulf region encompasses all 42 parishes west of the Mississippi River and is dedicated to building girls of courage, confidence and character. BBR was proud to help them build online engagement to its highest level ever.

Photo Contest

In order to increase online engagement levels, we developed and implemented a photo contest entitled Girl Scouts Go Places!

Facebook Photo Contest

Components included social media graphics, a contest page and a Facebook ‘Like Us’ tab page.

Page likes nearly doubled as a result!

All contest components were designed to be fun and brightly colored for maximum appeal to girls within the scouting age group.

Marketing

As a social media campaign, the promotion was executed via Facebook and Offerpop and was promoted via print, social media & email marketing.

While two weeks is a very short time frame for any promotion, the results of this contest really got the Girl Scouts going places!
