(Baton Rouge, La.) – The Baton Rouge chapter of the American Advertising Federation (AdFed) held its annual American Advertising Awards, formerly known as the ADDYs, on Saturday, March 4, at L’Auberge Casino & Hotel in Baton Rouge. Louisiana advertising agency BBR was the winner of 6 awards for work on behalf of Louisiana Economic Development (LED), including four Gold awards, one Silver award and Best of Show for print advertising.
The American Advertising Awards is the advertising industry’s largest competition. Each year, over 40,000 pieces of work from advertising agencies are entered into local AdFed chapter competitions across the country. Winners, chosen by a panel of judges, are recognized for their creative excellence in advertising.

Four Gold awards were presented to BBR in the following categories:
- Magazine Advertising – Campaign: “Louisiana Works for You” Print Ads
- Mass Transit/Airlines – Interior – Single: “Louisiana Works for You” Video
- Websites- Microsites: Louisiana Economic Quarterly Q1
- Illustration – Series: Louisiana Works for You
The agency also took home Best of Show in the print advertising category for the “Louisiana Works for You” print ad campaign as well as a Silver award in the the category of Integrated Advertising Campaigns, B2B Campaign – National for “Louisiana Works for You.” Ads from the campaign appeared in top-tier national publications, including Inc. Magazine, The New York Times and Harvard Business Review.
