Digital marketing agency seeks Creative Director

BBR Creative, an award-winning Lafayette, LA-based digital marketing agency, is seeking a full-time Creative Director to lead a team of creative thinkers in developing extraordinary concepts for digital, online, social, print and video campaigns. Primary focuses are to lead campaign creative strategy, oversee campaign development, mentor, coach and nurture our creative talent. The Creative Director will work with other discipline directors on client and campaign strategies while overseeing the continued production of excellent creative work that BBR and its clients expect.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead teams in concept development and ideation
  • Provide campaign creative and content oversight
  • Work with cross-functional teams to provide graphic design support
  • Work with other discipline team leaders to develop marketing strategy and campaign programs

On a day-to-day basis, this role will require you to:

  • Inspire a team of designers, illustrators, and writers to produce great, creative work
  • Oversee the creative product for all of the agency’s clients
  • Develop, or participate in, the creative strategy and creative brief development for large projects and campaigns
  • Help individual designers and writers further grow their skill sets and overall creative craft
  • Graphic design and production of advertising campaigns on assigned accounts.

What you must have to apply:

  • 7+ years of agency experience as a creative leader
  • Ability to curate and inspire both internal teams and external partners to deliver an overall product and brand experience that is truly differentiated by creative ideas, design and execution
  • Ability and previous work experience to be hands-on and ready to dive into day-to-day design work
  • Video production experience, specifically experience in directing and/or producing
  • A strong background in design/illustration, copywriting and campaign messaging
  • Previous experience with large-scale, multi-channel campaign development including traditional and digital channels
