No coffee-making or photocopying here — an internship with BBR is a great way to gain experience and learn more about advertising and marketing while attending school in Louisiana. We strive to deliver excellent work that makes an impact for our clients, and our interns are an integral part of that effort.
Interns will be given real opportunities to contribute to our team while learning about agency operations and how the various disciplines coordinate together, in addition to learning more about their field of study. Our interns have the opportunity to practice common creative tasks like copywriting, account management, client service, media research and social media engagement.
Although our internships are unpaid, we offer a high level of industry experience. We also urge students to gain course credit during our internships and work hand-in-hand with course requirements.
Internship programs are offered in the spring, summer and fall. Eligible students are collegiate upperclassmen majoring in most communication disciplines relevant to our business: mass communications, advertising, marketing, public relations, graphic design, digital and social media. Interns are expected to work independently to complete tasks, therefore they must have good organizational skills and meet all assignment deadlines.
