LEADING THE WAY TO A BETTER LOUISIANA

(LAFAYETTE, LA) – BBR Creative is pleased to announce Cherie Hebert, Founder and CEO of BBR, has been selected to participate in Leadership Louisiana’s Class of 2022. The Leadership Louisiana program is hosted annually by the Council For A Better Louisiana (CABL), and aims to bring together leaders, motivators and influential people from across the state to understand the complex issues that drive our state, through diverse expertise and cultural experiences; recognizing the opportunities others might not see. Through this one-year commitment, CABL provides learning and networking opportunities for participants to learn key strategies and solutions necessary to ensure meaningful progress in our state.

Currently, Leadership Louisiana boasts a broad network of over 1,300 alumni from every region of the state, and across many market segments including, civic, business, government, education, professional, cultural and nonprofit.  Together, they represent a group of committed citizens who have made a difference in Louisiana. “I couldn’t be more thrilled with my selection, but to share ideas and plans with 52 other influencers from here in Acadiana and across the state is awe inspiring,” says Hebert.

“I have always looked forward to what the future holds but I know with a class of this magnitude, we will do great things.” Hebert joins 11 other members from the Acadiana Region, including: Melissa “Missy” Bienvenue Andrade of the Boys and Girls Club; Marc Creswell of Air Med; Sarah Hughes of Sasol; Jeremy Hidalgo of Parish Strategy Group, LLC; Adrian King, MS, of Boyd Gaming Corp.; John Morris IV, JD of Jones Walker; Sam Oliver, MA, of the Acadiana Center for the Arts; Stacy Romero of the Broussard Chamber of Commerce; Lise Anne Slatten, Ph.D. of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette; Nic Walts of the Picard Group; and Joe Zanco, of Bancorp/St. Landry Homestead.
