The Acadiana and Baton Rouge chapters of the American Advertising Federation (AAF) recently held their annual American Advertising Awards for 2018. Operating at the local, regional and national levels, this awards competition celebrates innovative advertising work created nationwide for a variety of industries.
The Lafayette ceremony was hosted at downtown’s Hope Lodge. Over the course of the night, BBR received nine gold and five silver ADDYs, including Best in Show for Electronic Production for Cane River Pecan Company’s annual email campaign. Special Judge’s Awards went to both BBR’s Specialty Items and BBR’s Holiday Cards.

In addition to project-based awards, two BBR employees received individual recognition for their work over the past year. Senior Art Director Burt collected a Special Judge’s Award for Superior Design, and Content Director Tim Landry was named AAF’s Copywriter of the Year.
BATON ROUGE AWARDS
In Baton Rouge, the ceremony was held at the L’Auberge Casino and Hotel. In the Websites & Microsites category, BBR won a silver ADDY for 2017’s EQ Q3 issue, The Race for Aerospace. The team followed up that win with another silver ADDY in Digital Publication for 2016’s EQ Q4 Year in Review issue. Sneak a peek at the award-winning work here:
