2016 was certainly a standout year for our digital design team. Recently, two of BBR’s larger online projects received recognition from W3, an invitation-only awards competition held by the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts. The awards ceremony is hosted annually and recognizes excellence in media, interactive online features, advertising, and online marketing. This year, our digital team received recognition for two projects.
New Orleans Architecture Firm Trapolin-Peer’s new website won silver for its eye-catching design and functionality. Trapolin-Peer Architects came to BBR with an outdated website and management system that made updating difficult for the client. Our digital team gave the website a complete redesign and included a project library to allow easy update access for the client.
Louisiana Economic Development’s digital publication of Economic Quarterly (EQ) was awarded gold for its first quarter edition and silver for its second quarter edition. For EQ, which was formerly a print publication, BBR flipped the script and created a fully digital version complete with interactive features. Not only did the new design help emphasize key information, but it also saved the state printing funds by going completely digital.
