From account executives to copywriters and everything in-between, there are quite a few new faces around the office. Meet the new kids on BBR’s block:
Aaron Martin –– Account Executive
Aaron Martin is the go-to between agency and client. Through regular interactions, discovery meetings and project development, he’s your first point of contact with the agency. It’s a big responsibility, one that Aaron is experienced and comfortable with after years of managing accounts for agencies across the state.
A graduate of the Centenary College of Louisiana with a B.S. in Communications, Aaron’s passion for digital media and his ability to strategize with big-concept ideas has made him a crucial new addition to BBR’s Account Services department. He is an Account Executive with experience in digital design, website development, advertising and social media strategy and, outside of agency life, he works as a freelance photographer across the state.
Cory LaGrange –– Internet Marketing Specialist
Cory is our clients’ fastpass to online visibility. He spends his workdays managing the online marketing and optimization operations for our digital clients, ensuring content is seen and voices are heard. Prior to joining the BBR team, Cory got his first taste of agency life during his senior year of college when he interned for our digital marketing department.
Graduating with a B.A. in Public Relations from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 2011, Cory dove into the industry headfirst. His quick wit and marketing prowess quickly landed him positions in the local market where he developed talents in social media, search engine optimization, online marketing and more. His acquired expertise in a number of online arenas has made Cory an invaluable asset to our digital team. Outside of work, Cory is an all-around frontman, holding leadership roles in community organizations such as The705 and Acadiana’s AdFed.
Mallory Trahan –– Project Manager
Mallory is responsible for working with the account service team to manage all marketing communications projects while serving as liaison between the client and the creative team.
Born and raised in Lafayette, La., Mallory is currently working on her bachelor’s degree in Marketing and International Business Studies. Thanks to her volunteer efforts with area nonprofits and her time spent assisting the University of Louisiana at Lafayette’s athletics with social media, she brings a varied skillset and diverse outlook on proper business practices and execution. Mallory utilizes her experience with organization, planning and scheduling to BBR’s team by working directly with our account executives to keep projects on track and on time.
Mark Whitney –– Junior Copywriter
Mark is our in-house coffee aficionado and penmaster. As junior copywriter, he provides a compelling voice to brands and campaigns alike, ensuring both tone and narrative remain on target. In doing so, Mark works cohesively with clients and creatives to tell a company’s story, all while developing identities and charming audiences.
A University of Louisiana alum, he holds degrees in both English and Marketing, making him a dual threat in the boardroom. With work experience ranging from copywriting for regional agencies to brand managing the identity of Lafayette’s local coffee roaster, Rêve, Mark comes equipped with a diverse marketing and messaging background to develop headlines that deliver.
Remi LeBlanc –– Marketing and Business Development Assistant
Remi assists the BBR team by developing new leads and organizing them into focused plans of action. Equipped with experience serving organizations focused on business growth and economic development trends, Remi pursues new leads on potential clients while developing new initiatives dedicated to growing BBR itself.
Remi earned her marketing degree from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and gained program coordinating experience through a LEDA internship for the Leadership Institute of Acadiana.
Robert Tarleton –– Social Media Manager
Robert develops captivating social content designed to connect clients with the denizens of online communities. Robert keeps his finger on the pulse of online culture and works alongside our creative department to develop messaging that’s relevant, timely and always ahead of the curve.
After graduating with a B.A in Industrial Design from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, Robert returned as a graduate assistant in the Office of Communications and Marketing while pursuing his master’s degree in Mass Communications. His love of photography and passion for digital interactivity quickly found him a job assisting the university’s social media specialist, where he developed talents in online marketing, community engagement and more. Outside of work, Robert is a freelance photographer and student leader for the university’s social media team.
Laura Hebert –– Account Manager
Laura Hebert’s primary job is to work with clients to discover new and innovative ways to help grow their business. Together with our agency’s creative and digital departments, she executes advertising and marketing campaigns aimed at helping further our clients’ brands and improving their public image.
With a B.A. in advertising and fashion merchandising from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, Laura is a creative with the mind of an executive. Her experience working with diverse, high-profile clients such as Cirque Du Soleil give her a unique perspective on advertising that is part playful, part technical and, make her a powerful ally for clients. Outside of her career, Laura works with animal rescue initiatives and community outreach. Her ability to balance proper execution with creative design makes her an incredible asset for our agency.
