BBR Wins Big at Annual American Advertising Awards

March 22, 2016

Each year, the American Advertising Federation holds a three-tier competition for advertising campaigns and promotional materials created across the country. The competition is held at the local, district and national levels, recognizing superior design and strategy within the ad world. At this year’s local American Advertising Awards, BBR saw several big wins for both Lafayette and Baton Rouge locations.

Lafayette ADDY Winners

BBR Lafayette honors included Copywriter of the Year for Senior Copywriter Tim Landry’s work on numerous campaigns throughout 2015, as well as several Gold ADDYs for self-promotional website design, Cane River’s email marketing campaign and Festival International’s 2016 poster design. A Special Judges Award was also given for our Star Wars Christmas eCard campaign created by Senior Art Director Burt Durand. The holiday Star Wars campaign has since won a District Silver ADDY and will soon be judged at the national level.

Baton Rouge ADDY Winners

In Baton Rouge, we also received three silver ADDYs for our 2015 Coyote Blues Spring and Summer campaigns as well as for LED’s Authentic Louisiana Name Maker, an interactive feature designed to output fun, quirky Louisiana-themed nicknames for its users.
