The Arc of Acadiana Hosts Eighth Annual Charity Golf Classic

(Lafayette, La.) – Arc of Acadiana, a non-profit organization committed to the promotion and protection of the rights of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD), will host their eighth-annual charity golf classic on Friday, October 26, 2012. The golf tournament will be held at The Wetlands Golf Course in Lafayette, La. Registration will be held on Thursday, October 25, from noon until 5 p.m. Then on Friday, the first of two flights will tee off at 7 a.m. and the second will tee off at noon. All golfers and patrons are invited to enjoy this event.

The Arc gladly welcomes food and drink tent sponsors. Event sponsors are predicted to reach more than 240 participants from more than 100 companies. There will be two flights of a four-man scramble awarding 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners. This will include two Mulligans and two Red Blasts per golfer to be used on any hole. The entry deadline is Friday October 5, 2012.

Four-Man Scramble Details:
• $10 per Mulligan
• $10 per Red Blast
• Includes cart, green fees, food & drinks on course
• First 30 paid teams to register have preference on which flight they play

Event Sponsorship Details:
• Platinum- $3,500 and above: Includes three teams and course advertisement
• Gold- $2,500: Includes two teams and course advertisement
• Silver- $1,500: Includes one team and course advertisement
• Team Registration- $1,000: Includes one team
• Hole Sponsorship- $200/hole
