Dupre’ Logistics announces today that it has joined the recently formed Alliance for Driver Safety and Security, a 501(c) corporation headquartered in Washington, DC. The primary purpose of the Alliance is to advocate for legislation and policies that will improve the safety and security of people who work in the commercial truck freight industry, as well as the motoring public. “We have consistently worked through industry associations to pass legislation that makes our highways safer. This Alliance focuses on that objective and we are excited to become a member,” said Reggie Dupre’, CEO of Dupre’ Logistics. “The Alliance recently announced its support of Senator Mark Pryor’s(D, AR) bill which mandates the use of electronic on board computers for all Class 7 and 8 trucks.
