BELFOR Donates Service to Los Angeles School
(Los Angeles) — BELFOR, the world’s leading property restoration company, announced today its participation in NBC’s “School Pride,” a proactive, alternative television series that tells the stories of communities uniting to renovate aging and broken public schools.
Los Angeles Center for Enriched Studies (LACES) is a stand-out college prep magnet school that reflects the diversity of Los Angeles with its students coming from many socioeconomic, cultural and ethnic backgrounds. LACES provides more than 1,500 students a challenging curriculum in a humanistic school environment with an emphasis in creative arts. Despite LACES’ record of superior academic performance, their facilities have been neglected for many years. Together, the “School Pride” team and BELFOR were able to remodel LACES’ music room, a 700-seat auditorium and their culinary arts room.
“It is with honor that we donate our time and services to restoring the Los Angeles Center for Enriched Studies campus,” said BELFOR EVP National Sales and Marketing, Theresa Williams. “At BELFOR, we understand the importance of education. We are proud to give back to the Los Angeles community and LACES to restore their school pride!”
