Dupré Logistics Donates Time and Services to Opelousas Light House Mission

(LAFAYETTE, LA.) – Dupré Logistics recently lent a helping hand to the Opelousas Light House Mission, an organization that benefits area homeless men. The mission was given a walk-in freezer, but had no way to move the large unit from Lafayette to Opelousas. It was then that Dupré was contacted; they were ready and willing to provide support.

Dupré provided the logistics services as well as a welder to remove the protective post from the freezer at its previous location. Dupré then enlisted Guy’s Towing, who provided the manpower and equipment, needed to make the move free of charge.

“We believe in the mission and work of the Opelousas Light House Mission and we strive to strengthen the lives of those in our community who are in need. We were honored to partner with Guy’s Towing to get the job done,” said Dupré’s Kevin Smith.
