Launching Our Lady of Lourdes

As a young girl who began her college career in nursing, I can honestly say I have always had an affinity to healthcare. Truth be told (or as told by my husband), I would have made a horrible nurse, due to my weak stomach and lack of emotional restraint (I cry easily). So, after two semesters of nursing, I traded in my anatomy and physiology books for easels and X-Acto knives.  Fast forward twenty-plus years and here I sit, developing marketing and branding campaigns for hospitals and healthcare entities on a daily basis. Nickel Tour of BBR

Surprising the BBRers on video was quite an amusing operation! I’m fairly new here in the ad world having just graduated college, and making this clip with the team was a good time for me. It’s exciting that these bright and lively leaders and creative minds are my coworkers!

This is a regular day in the office of BBR Creative where hard work and planning, smiles and laughter, and some seriously creative scheming are all one office away.

Enter the 21st century. Traditional media relations tactics don’t work anymore. Today, we’re not just pitching to overworked, time-strained reporters with slots to fill. We’re pitching to an active, engaged group of media-savvy individuals – reporters, bloggers, even videographers – who value their audience and know their messages will be carried far and wide. Additionally, they are the gatekeepers – charged with helping weed out the nonsense. (more…)
