Ah….the results were telling. Red and yellow you could just gorge on, for days on end, warm and generous and full. Blue and green were the sad remains of a pie-lover’s nightmare – stingy, paper-thin slices. In that moment, looking at the division of colors in my pie chart, I could see my whole life story. (more…)
This St. Patrick’s Day, BBR threw a “Get Lucky” Happy Hour at the office, complete with green beer, festive, green decorations and food. As part of the party committee, one of my jobs was to secure green alcoholic beverages, in the form of a keg and margaritas, both of which proved to be fairly simple tasks (although, in retrospect, I should’ve gone heavier on the margaritas). Not many of our clients know that they have the distinction of working with two of the most attractive alligator hunters south of I-10. They’re definitely “purtier” than Troy Landry and Jacob Landry, the rising stars of the History Channel’s Swamp People, the reality show that follows Cajun alligator hunters. (more…)
To get in the Halloween spirit this year, BBR decided to do something to reward our fans for their creativity, and came up with the BBR Inaugural Halloween-Stravaganza Costume Contest. This was a photo contest on our Facebook page, where our fans could submit their Halloween costume pictures for voting. The one catch was, BBR wasn’t going to do the voting, we were leaving it up to our fans. And up for grabs was one of three gift cards, $100 for 3rd place, $200 for 2nd, and $300 1st place. (more…)

I never imagined that interning at BBR would be such a blast. This summer I had the privilege of spending three weeks with the team. I was able to tour the vendors that BBR works hand-in-hand with — Vidox, KATC, Action Specialties, Tri-Star Graphics, TownSquare Media — meeting great people and learning something special about each one of them.
